How to convert kilowatts to horsepower
One kilowatt equals 1.341 horsepower, so multiply the number of kilowatts by 1.341:
hp = kW × 1.341
kW = hp ÷ 1.341 (1 hp = 0.7457 kW)
Example: 11 kW → 11 × 1.341 = 14.7512 hp.
Going the other way, divide by 1.341, or multiply by 0.7457; the horsepower to kilowatts converter does it for you.
