How to convert megabytes to gigabytes
One megabyte equals 0.001 gigabytes, so multiply the number of megabytes by 0.001:
GB = MB × 0.001
MB = GB ÷ 0.001 (1 GB = 1,000 MB)
Example: 5 MB → 5 × 0.001 = 0.005 GB.
Going the other way, divide by 0.001, or multiply by 1,000; the gigabytes to megabytes converter does it for you.
