How to convert knots to miles per hour
One knot equals 1.1508 miles per hour, so multiply the number of knots by 1.1508:
mph = kn × 1.1508
kn = mph ÷ 1.1508 (1 mph = 0.868976 kn)
Example: 34 kn → 34 × 1.1508 = 39.1265 mph.
Going the other way, divide by 1.1508, or multiply by 0.868976; the miles per hour to knots converter does it for you.
