How to convert feet to inches
One foot equals 12 inches, so multiply the number of feet by 12:
in = ft × 12
ft = in ÷ 12 (1 in = 0.083333 ft)
Example: 3 ft → 3 × 12 = 36 in.
Going the other way, divide by 12, or multiply by 0.083333; the inches to feet converter does it for you.
